Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for ship structural design, strength analysis, weight control and optimization, preparation of design drawings, and ensuring that the vessel meets design requirements, regulatory standards, and classification society regulations.
2. Be familiar with and apply relevant international, national, and classification society codes and standards. Ensure that the hull design meets requirements for seaworthiness, safety, and environmental protection.
3. Prepare technical documents such as design specifications and technical standards. Participate in project schedule management to ensure that the hull design tasks are completed on time.
4. Communicate with shipowners, shipyards, classification societies, and relevant departments to resolve issues arising during the design and construction phases.
Job requirements:
1. Associate degree or above in shipbuilding engineering, ship design, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
2. More than 2 years of work experience in ship design, familiar with ship design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other ship design tools; proficient in relevant international and domestic ship design codes and standards (e.g., IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.).
3. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset; driving license preferred.
