Job Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for the conceptual design, detailed design, and technical optimization of ship machinery systems, including main engines, auxiliary machinery, propeller shaft systems, steering gear systems, cooling systems, fuel systems, lubrication systems, ballast systems, and more.
2. Select equipment and ensure that the design complies with the requirements of the classification society and relevant regulations.
3. Develop relevant technical standards and specifications to ensure that designs comply with international and industry standards. Prepare and review design drawings, technical specifications, calculation reports, operation manuals, and other documents related to turbine systems.
4. Communicate with shipowners, classification societies, equipment suppliers, and others to ensure that the design meets customer requirements and regulatory standards.
5. Ensure that the turbine system design complies with safety standards and reduces potential risks. Participate in quality inspections, issue rectification, and acceptance procedures to ensure that turbine equipment meets technical requirements.
Job requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in ship design, naval architecture, mechanical engineering, or a related field; at least 2 years of relevant work experience; driving license preferred.
